Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo realizar una descripción de cómo se aborda la estimulación temprana en jardines maternales y en el nivel inicial, en las edades de 45 días a 3 años, en la Argentina. Se recolectó información mediante un cuestionario diseñado y validado por la Lic. Claudia Inés Godoy, que consistió en 24 preguntas con escala de Likert con 6 opciones de respuestas. Participaron 134 docentes de jardines maternales y nivel inicial. Los resultados indicaron que los docentes trabajan solo lo que está en la currícula. Los jardines maternales y establecimientos de educación inicial orientados a que los alumnos adquieran una serie de destrezas que serían útiles para cuando ingresen al nivel primario. La mayoría de los docentes percibieron que hace falta colaboración y apoyo para ir más allá de sus metas.
The objective of this research was to make a description of how early stimulation is addressed in kindergartens and early education, at ages from 45 days to 3 years, in Argentina. Information was collected through a questionnaire designed and validated by Lic. Claudia Inés Godoy, which consisted of 24 questions with a Likert scale with 6 response options. 134 kindergarten and early education teachers participated. The results indicated that the teachers work only on what is in the curriculum. Kindergartens and early education establishments are aimed at helping students acquire a series of skills that would be useful when they enter primary school. The majority of teachers perceived that collaboration and support are needed to go beyond their goals.
