Resumen
Las crisis globales actuales profundizan las desigualdades y amenazan la salud planetaria, exigiendo repensar la relación entre salud y hábitat. Frente a este desafío, destacamos aquí la necesaria promoción activa de la salud en ámbitos educativos, mediante el enfoque de Una Sola Salud (OMS), con la integración inicial de las vías de la Patogénesis y de la Salutogénesis. Para ello se proponen la formación interdisciplinaria de docentes y estudiantes, la vigilancia microbiológica en escuelas, la implementación de medidas de bioseguridad y un adecuado diseño arquitectónico escolar. Estas acciones posicionarían a la educación, a la bioseguridad y al diseño escolar, como pilares clave para la promoción de comunidades saludables y sostenibles.
Current global crises deepen inequalities and threaten planetary health, demanding a rethinking of the relationship between health and habitat. In response to this challenge, we highlight the urgent need for the active promotion of health in educational settings, using the One Health approach (WHO) with the initial integration of the pathways of Pathogenesis and Salutogenesis. To achieve this, interdisciplinary training for teachers and students, microbiological surveillance in schools, the implementation of biosecurity measures, and appropriate school architectural design are proposed. These actions would position education, biosecurity, and school design as key pillars for fostering healthy and sustainable communities.
