We maintain that the problems of access to health are not economic, but political. We will propose ideas about the political causes of this lack and its relationship with our economic and community development. Access to health is an indispensable action to regenerate our political community and promote economic development. The impoverishment of the population violates their expectations, threatens our ideal as a country and isolates us from the great global civilizational current. Communities can be trapped in poverty traps, one of the causes of which is poor health. Poverty and disease are enhanced in a vicious circle that compromises our development and the future of the new generations, trapped in mortality traps. Equal access to quality health is an imperative of the political community; it can only be addressed from the State, and it is the prerequisite for the revitalization of our society and its political coexistence, as well as its development.
