The various studies on the human mind are based on assumptions inspired by essential ideas about human beings. The functional differences achieved stem from ontic approaches that, in turn, lead to ontological principles that are not always explicitly stated. Fidelity to the epistemological assumptions of scientific endeavors that touch upon the innermost aspects of human existence should not be separated from a commitment to the true human being, freeing them from the naiveté and organic and psychological pathologies that prevent them from experiencing the joy of self-giving for the good. But if intimacy is isolated from its transcendent purpose, only a programmed and endless winter will ensue.
