Resumen: La localidad de Olavarría está ubicada en el centro de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, se caracteriza por ser el principal centro minero y por tener una economía diversificada.
En el presente trabajo se pretende la investigación histórica de la ciudad de Olavarría, su proceso industrial, sus problemáticas ambientales y la evolución de los parques urbanos. Por otro lado, se desarrolla conceptualmente la ciudad como un sistema, la expansión urbana, la función de los espacios verdes y la arquitectura acorde para relacionarla con la naturaleza disminuyendo el impacto ambiental.
El objetivo es un nuevo parque multifuncional en la zona sur, proporcionándole a la ciudad y a su entorno inmediato un aporte económico, social, cultural completando así, la linealidad de parques de la ciudad sobre la rivera del arroyo Tapalqué cumpliendo la función de corredor verde biológico.
Esta intervención aporta funcionalidades deportivas, culturales, comerciales y recreativas en un emplazamiento donde no posee estas características.
Abstract: The town of Olavarría is located in the center of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina; it is characterized by being the main mining center and having a diversified economy. The present work aims to investigate the history of the city of Olavarría, its industrial process, its environmental problems and the evolution of urban parks. On the other hand, the city is conceptually developed as a system, urban expansion, the function of green spaces and appropriate architecture to relate it to nature, reducing the environmental impact. The objective is a new multifunctional park in the southern area, providing the city and its immediate surroundings with an economic, social, and cultural contribution, thus completing the linearity of the city's parks on the banks of the Tapalqué stream and fulfilling the function of a corridor. biological green. This intervention provides sports, cultural, commercial and recreational functionalities in a location where it does not have these characteristics.
