Resumen
Resumo: Este artigo questiona o uso da tecnologia na performance, mais especificamente o uso do som e da imagem como meios comunicacionais e artísticos. Foi utilizada uma metodologia de investigação através da prática artística para desenvolver os projectos site-specific desenvolvidos. Esta metodologia envolve o processo de aproximação ao site-specific e a (des)construção do sentido de lugar. Os três projectos site-specific, em locais religiosos, foram desenvolvidos através de um processo de investigação contínua que envolveu a avaliação de vários níveis de permanência e diferentes modos de acesso à memória dos lugares. Verificou-se que as performances audiovisuais ao vivo em locais específicos reforçam a performatividade da memória.
Abstract: This paper questions the use of technology in performance, specifically the use of sound and image as communicational and artistic means. A research methodology through the artistic practice was used to develop the site-specific projects created. This methodology involves the process of approaching to the site-specific and the (de)construction of the sense of place. The three site-specific projects in religious places were developed through a process of continuous inquiry that involved assessing various levels of permanence and different modes of access to memories. It was found that live audio-visual performances in specific places can strengthen the performativity of memory.
