| dc.description.abstract | En los primeros siglos del cristianismo, aparecieron dos importantes escuelas cristianas, las de Alejandría y Antioquía, con valiosos aportes a la catequesis y al estudio de las escrituras. La escuela alejandrina fue un centro de estudios superiores de teología orientado a la instrucción de los catecúmenos, que originó una gnosis cristiana que confrontó con otros gnosticismos imperantes en aquel tiempo. La es-cuela de Antioquía resistió a cierto alegorismo exagerado proponiendo una exégesis más literal y una mayor valoración de la humanidad de Cristo. La primera tuvo cierto basamento platonizante que la obligó a indagar la correspondencia de la creación con Dios. La segunda hizo una exégesis bíblico-teológica más encarnada y ofreció un discurso especulativo más breve, claro y demostrable. Pues bien, hallamos dos escuelas cristianas que, aunque confrontadas por la fuerza de la misma fe y el obje-tivo de la verdad, hicieron de las diferencias un estímulo para comprender y definir mejor la misma verdad. The Alexandrian school was a center of higher studies of theology oriented to the instruction of the catechumens, which originated a cer-tain Christian gnosis that confronted other Gnosticisms prevailing at that time. The school of Antioch resisted a certain exaggerated allegorical exegesis by proposing a more literal exegesis and a greater appreciation of the humanity of Christ. The first had a certain platonic foundation that forced her to investigate the correspondence of creation with God. The second made a more incarna-ted biblical-theological exegesis and offered a shorter, clearer and more demonstrable speculative discourse. Well, we find two Christian schools that, although confronted by the force of the same faith and the objective of the truth, made from the differences a stimulus to understand and bet-ter define the same truth. | |
