Resumen
Resumen: La ONU define la trata de personas como un crimen global que involucra el reclutamiento, transporte, traslado, acogida o recepción de personas, a través de la coerción, el engaño, el abuso de poder o la explotación de su vulnerabilidad, con el propósito de someterlas a diversas formas de explotación. Estas formas de explotación incluyen la explotación sexual, el trabajo forzado, la servidumbre, el tráfico de órganos o incluso la extracción de tejidos corporales.
Aunque son fenómenos distintos en su naturaleza y objetivos, su conexión se manifiesta a través de diferentes aspectos, como la financiación del terrorismo, la utilización de las víctimas como recurso estratégico y la explotación de rutas y redes de tráfico humano ya establecidas.
Este artículo se estudió la legislación de las siguientes regiones: América del Norte, Latinoamérica, Medio Oriente, África y Europa con el fin de encontrar el nexo vinculante entre la trata de personas y el fenómeno del terrorismo.
Abstract: The UN defines human trafficking as a global crime that involves the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring or receipt of people through coercion, deception, abuse of power or exploitation of their vulnerability, with the purpose of subjecting them to various forms of exploitation. These forms of exploitation include sexual exploitation, forced labor, bondage, organ trafficking or even the extraction of body tissue. Human trafficking and terrorism share certain concerning links that transcend borders and cultures. Although they are different phenomena in nature and objectives, their connection can have serious consequences for global security and the stability of nations. This connection manifests through various aspects, such as terrorism financing, the use of victims as a strategic resource, and the exploitation of established human trafficking routes and networks. This article conducted a study of the legislation of the following regions: North America, Latin America, The Middle East, and Europe in order to find the binding link between human trafficking and the phenomenon of terrorism.
